We have added the £37bn of the Covid-related financial support lost to fraudsters; the Fake firms who secured personal protection equipment (PPE) contracts (£9bn) and the £37bn squandered on the Covid Test and Trace programme which failed to meet its objectives, to arrive at a (very low) estimate of £83 billion.
